Rached Abdelkhalek is a Sr. Solutions Architect at NVIDIA with a background in high-performance computing (HPC) and parallel computing. At NVIDIA, his work focuses on leveraging NVIDIA ecosystem to create innovative solutions in the fields of medical imaging, genomics, and drug discovery.
Prior to joining NVIDIA, Rached held positions as a research scientist at the Extreme Computing Research Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and as an HPC software developer at TOTAL Energies. At KAUST, Rached worked on developing parallel algorithms and software for HPC systems, while at TOTAL Energies, he specialized in developing and optimizing scientific software for seismic imaging and interpretation.
Rached holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Bordeaux I, where he conducted research on parallel algorithms for HPC systems. He also holds an engineering degree in computer science from Bordeaux Institute of Technology.
