Professor (HDR) Hanene Boussi holds a Ph.D., an MEng, and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Health Informatics from UWE Bristol, UK. She is currently Professor (HDR) of Medical Informatics and Clinical Decision Support Systems at the Higher Institute of Medical Technologies of Tunis and Delegated Vice President at the University of Tunis El Manar. Her academic and research career is dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning in healthcare, with a particular interest in the processing, analysis, and secure exchange of medical imaging data. She leads and supervises multidisciplinary research projects focused on AI-driven medical imaging, clinical risk prediction, and ethical data governance. Professor Boussi has developed intelligent systems for medication diagnosis and safety in clinical care, clinical ontologies for oncology risk prediction, and blockchain-based prototypes for secure health data management. She has also contributed to the design of interoperable healthcare systems based on international standards such as HL7 CDA, FHIR, DICOM, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-10. She collaborates actively with national institutions and international organizations to promote the digital transformation of healthcare, supporting safer, more efficient, and ethically governed data ecosystems
