Hadil Affes recently graduated with a degree in Embedded Systems and Connected Objects Engineering from the Higher Institute of Computer Science (ISI) in Tunisia. She completed her graduation project during an internship at Octomiro, where she focused on MLOps and large vision models, with an emphasis on model benchmarking and scalable inference pipelines. Her work also involved fine-tuning vision foundation models such as SAM and DINOv2 using LoRA for domain-specific tasks like industrial object counting. Previously, she contributed to a bioinformatics project at Talan that used retrieval-based techniques to predict stem cell differentiation from DNA sequences. She has also worked on deep learning projects involving CNNs and LLM-based chatbots, and is passionate about building domain-adapted AI solutions.
