Ezzeddine ZAGROUBA obtained his HDR in computer science at the University of Tunis ElManar (UTM) and his PhD and engineering degree from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (ENSEEIHT/INPT) in France. He is Professor of Computer Science at the Higher Institute of Computer Science (ISI). He was director of two institute of higher education in Tunis: the higher institute of documentation (ISD) and then the higher institute of computer science (ISI-UTM). He also held the position of Vice-President of the Virtual University of Tunis (UVT) then General Director (CEO) of the National Center of Education Technology (CNTE) at the Ministry of Education in Tunisia. Currently, he is the director of the LIMTIC research laboratory of computer science at ISI-UTM. Its main activity is centered on artificial intelligence, big data, computer vision and pattern recognition. He has actively participated in several strategic projects and international collaborations in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications. He is also vice-president of the research association ArtsPi and expert in Digital transformation & smart education
